My client who distributes a range of Equipment found in Medical Centres has a role for an IT and Technical Support Team Lead.

Your primary function will be the management of a Team (4) of Technical Support Specialists who manage the installation of Medical Equipment remotely from the companies County Kerry Offices.

Supporting the clients and identifying additional revenue opportunities will be Key Performance Indicators.

Additionally, you will manage the sole IT Technician (1) who manages all internal IT issues (Hardware and Software Upgrades etc).

Package:

  • Full Time / Perm
  • €45k – €50k Basic (Dependent on Experience & Open to Negotiation)
  • Annual Profit Share (€1,750 – €2,500)

Role:

The IT and Technical Support Team Lead will have responsibility for the companies IT (1) and Technical Support Teams (4). The successful candidate will work with the Head of Operations to manage the delivery of excellent customer service to customers and colleagues and contribute to the successful delivery of the business strategy.

 

Two key elements for the business are development of our web platform and revenue generating opportunities for tech support. This would need to be achieved through a willingness to be customer focused and proactively seeking opportunity to understand the customer needs.

 

Duties:

  • Management of IT and Tech Support Teams
  • Responsible for maintaining high performance levels of service-related processes and the ability to implement improvements where necessary
  • Ensure systems, procedures and methodologies are in place to support outstanding service delivery
  • Responsibility for delivery of key IT projects to support delivery of business strategy and goals
  • Responsible for Technical Support service delivery performance, meeting customer expectations and driving future demand
  • Responsible for delivery of system and service improvements, ensuring that actions are implemented on time and within budget
  • Leading people management, including staff recruitment and retention, performance appraisals, training and mentoring

 

Experience:

 

  • Third level Degree
  • 3 Years’ Plus experience in a similar role (IT Support / Customer Support)
  • People management and leadership experience
  • Strong IT Security knowledge
  • Strong ERP system knowledge (SAP Business One an advantage)
  • Proven track record in Identifying and implementing Business Software
