My client who distributes a range of Equipment found in Medical Practices has created a new role for a Service Team Manager.
Managing Field Service Engineers (5), In-House Engineers (3), Telephone Support Engineers (3) and a Co-Ordinator (1) you will need to have previous experience in a similar Service Management role; you do not need to be coming from the Medical Device / Healthcare Industry.
Your primary function will be the management of a Team (12), and we envisage you needing to work the first month on-site in my clients Co. Kerry Offices full time (Accommodation Costs Covered); but after this there is flexibility over Working from Home (WFH).
Supporting the clients and identifying additional revenue opportunities will be a Key Performance Indicator.

Role:
The Service Manager at the company is responsible for leading and managing the Service Teams to deliver a high level of customer service. This role involves developing effective strategies, building strong customer relationships, monitoring performance, and ensuring the team meets targets. The Service Manager works closely with the Technical Lead to ensure that service quality and compliance are maintained at all times.

- Management of the Service Teams;
- Field Engineers (5)
- In-House Engineers (3)
- Telephone Technical Support (3)
- Co-ordinator (1)
- Responsible for maintaining high-performance levels of service-related processes and the ability to implement improvements where necessary
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
- Responsible for Service delivery performance, meeting customer expectations and driving future demand
- Responsible for delivery of Service improvements, ensuring that actions are implemented on time and within budget
- Leading people management, including staff recruitment and retention, performance appraisals, training and mentoring
Experience:
- Third level Degree
- 5-8 Years’ Plus experience in a similar role (Service Support Management)
- People management and leadership experience essential
- Ability to analyse data and make strategic decisions
- Proficiency in CRM/ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite
