At Independent Search Solutions Ltd we currently have a position for a Surgical Field Sales Manager.

 

You will need to be coming from a Surgical Sales environment (7-10 Years Min.), be based in Dublin, willing to cover the entire Island (Major Urban Centres), happy to travel 3-4 days a week to meet your Sales Team and Customers across Ireland and dynamic and confident enough to train, motivate and get the best out of the Sales Rep’s who will report to you.

 

While my preference would be an established Field Sales Manager for this position, I am willing to consider a Sales Rep who feel they are ready to step up into a Management position – APPLY TODAY

Job Title: Gynaecology & Urology Field Sales Manager

Territory: Dublin / 32-Counties (Hospitals Across the Island)

Team: (4)

Reporting To: MD

Package:

  • (€) Basic (Dependent on Experience & Open to Negotiation)
  • Commission (Based on a % of Gross Profit for the Division)

Role:

 

In this leadership role, you will spearhead the integration of global advancements in surgical techniques, ensuring the sales team’s success and contributing significantly to the overall growth and impact of the Urology & Gynaecology product portfolio. Your strategic vision and sales leadership expertise will play a pivotal role in establishing the business as a market leader in the field.

 

Duties:

Sales Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Develop and implement training programs for continuous improvement

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop and execute a strategic business development plan
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer need to drive sales strategies

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Support the sales team in nurturing existing customer relationships and acquiring new business

Sales Operations:

  • Oversee the execution of national sales plans and initiatives
  • Ensure effective utilisation of resources, including budget management

Reporting:

  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, business prospects, and market trends
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director / Marketing Director to assess and refine territory business plans

Team Collaboration:

  • Liaise with internal teams to maximize cross-business opportunities
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team culture

 

Experience:

 

  • 7-10 Years (Min.) Surgical Sales Experience
  • Track record of selling to Consultant Level Surgeons
  • Ability to develop and grow new Accounts
  • Clinical Sales Leadership a major advantage
  • Specific experience in Urology, Gynaecology Devices a major advantage but not essential
  • Full Clean Driving License
