Urology Clinical Support Specialist

My clients who are one of Irelands largest suppliers of Medical Equipment and Devices across the 32 Counties has a role within it’s Urology Community Division.

 

Covering mainly the greater Dublin City area you will meet with patients in their Private homes and in Care home facilities to train them on the use of a range of Urology Devices.

 

You will need to be an Irish Registered Nurse, have exposure to Urology Devices and be coming from either a Community or Hospital environment – APPLY TODAY

Role:

 

This is a specialised role that links the clinical and business worlds. It will establish and maintain close relationships with nursing and medical teams in the field of urology.

 

Once a patient has been identified as suitable for ISC and then prescribed one of our catheters by the urodynamics nurse or community continence advisor, they are then referred to the home nurse specialist for follow up training along with any additional support required until the patient is confident using the product.

 

Duties:

• Train and support patients in the community
• Maintain close relationships with established customers
• Establish and develop new relationships and business with customers and hospital urodynamics
• Oversea setting up and running of the ISC home service within the business which would include Customer service, Quality/Regulatory and Logistics
• Attend conferences with customers and keep up to date with clinical changes within urology
• Be familiar with current services and products in competitor companies
• Work alongside sales/commercial team to help develop new business
• Train additional nursing staff, as appropriate, to facilitate an expanding patient portfolio around the country
• Responsible to work with the commercial team to support business development in key strategic centres

 

Experience:

 

• Irish Registered and Certified Nurse
• Specific experience with Urology Products
• Direct working experience in a community setting a major advantage
• Full Clean Driving License

• Ability to create a positive impact and convey confidence and credibility to others in a Clinical Environment
