A leading Medical Device Manufacturer my client has a need for a Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor.

 

I am keen to speak with candidates who are coming from a Regulated Manufacturing environment within a Warehouse setting as you will appreciate the regulatory requirements for the transport and distribution of materials and finished product.

 

This is a Management position with 24 Direct Reports so you will need a min. of 5 years previous People Management experience.

 

You also need to have a strong focus on continuous improvement due to new process development and a recent change in warehouse management.

Job Title: Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor

Package:

• Full Time / Perm
• €65k – €75k+ Basic (Negotiable, dependent on experience)

Role:

 

The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for the material flow process ensuring an efficient and timely movement and storage of material through the plant.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure maximum productivity of warehouse team without compromising product integrity or health and safety standards
• Adhere to and ensure full awareness of all 5S, health and safety and emergency procedures
• Plan and execute physical inventory and data accuracy in line with the Inventory Control System
• Work with all other functions within the company, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted supply of materials to production and the distribution network
• Ensure the plant logistics strategy is operated effectively
• Prepare and present required performance metrics for the warehouse
• Plan and initiate improvement projects to the warehouse areas as needed to meet changing demands and requirements
• Promote a culture of compliance, cost effectiveness, idea generation, continuous improvement, and employee engagement
• Drive continuous improvement within the area
• Support and deliver training requirements via the LMS system
• Deputize for Warehouse and Logistics Lead in his absence
• Be the key SAP/S4/Oracle user for warehouse and logistics

 

Experience:

 

• Third Level Qualification (Business, Operations, Supply Chain)
• Min 5 Years Previous Experience in a similar role (Leadership), within a regulated Manufacturing environment
• Team Leadership experience essential
• Experience of working in a Unionized Environment beneficial

• Strong working knowledge of warehouse management systems and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP)
