Some would say if you are self-employed and run your own company you never stop working, and they would be right, but sometimes on a Saturday morning before I go for a cycle I always check my emails.
It could be an addiction or it could be that I just care; or maybe I want my efforts to mean something and that an extra hour in the weekend will make that difference for one of my clients.
The Agency Recruitment business is one of the most competitive sectors of the economy and I wouldn’t change it for the world; because it keeps me and my company sharp. We are always looking for new and innovative ways of attracting the best talent in the market to our clients
And this can be as simple as calling or emailing a candidate on his day off, there is no distractions and you have their full attention.
I also find that the weekend gives me time to think, during the working week it is very much jumping from one task to another and trying to ringing everyone before 5:30, but the weekend liberates you from these time constraints.
So too all those working this weekend, I salute you and your efforts.
