I’m currently recruiting for a Senior R&D Project & Commercialization Manager for an international Medical Device manufacturer based in County Mayo, Ireland.
This isn’t simply another Project Management role.
This is an opportunity to lead multidisciplinary teams responsible for taking innovative products from New Product Development through to successful global commercialization. The role requires someone who understands that delivering a project isn’t about updating Gantt charts—it’s about aligning Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Marketing and Commercial teams behind one common objective.
The successful candidate will be comfortable asking difficult questions.
- Are we solving the right customer problem?
- Are we making decisions based on data?
- Have we identified the risks before they become delays?
- Can this product be manufactured, scaled and launched successfully across multiple markets?
The best Commercialization Leaders don’t simply manage timelines.
They create alignment.
They remove barriers.
They influence without authority.
They make complex programmes look straightforward.
If you’ve spent the last 8-12 years in Medical Device R&D, New Product Development or Project Management, you’ll probably recognise that the most rewarding part of your career hasn’t been writing technical reports or updating project plans.
